About Me

I'm Jack, a full-stack software engineer based in Hendersonville, NC. I spent the early part of my career in back-end development, databases and server-side logic, then transitioned into front-end heavy roles, and came out the other side with deep expertise in both.

Over a decade in, having worked for companies of all different sizes, I've seen most of what e-commerce can throw at you. Messy migrations, legacy codebases, tight deadlines, platforms that fight you the whole way. I've been there.

These days I'm leaning into AI-assisted workflows to move faster and accomplish more without cutting corners. At the end of the day, I just really enjoy solving puzzles.

When I'm not at the keyboard I'm out hiking with my dog Nemo or spending time with my daughter Sadie somewhere in the mountains.
